How much does XO Stats cost, and what's included?
XO Stats is a flat $500 for the season. That includes unlimited coach accounts, the broadcast live scoreboard link, and access to the XO Stats app on the App Store. Contact us for middle school team pricing.
What devices do we need on game night?
An iPhone or iPad. That's it.
Does it work with no cell signal at the stadium?
No access to cell signal or Wi-Fi? No problem. XO Stats tracks the full game offline and syncs everything as soon as you have a connection again.
Who keeps the stats during a game — does it have to be a coach?
No. The stat keeper can be a program assistant or statistician designated by the team.
How long does it take to learn?
With prior knowledge of the game and a few minutes in practice mode, anyone can jump right in and log a game. A trusted student manager works well; using parents is not recommended.
What do we get when the game ends?
Access to team and player stats inside the app, a box score that is easily shareable, and full reports on the admin dashboard.
How does the live scoreboard work, and who is it for?
The live scoreboard updates within seconds of each play being logged in the XO Stats app. It's intended for broadcast and radio teams and press-box members who are part of game operations.
Can we see stats from earlier in the season and track trends?
Yes — season stats and self-scouting reports are available on the admin dashboard.
What sports does XO Stats support?
Currently football only, with basketball access TBD. Football-only focus is why the tracking flow fits the sport so well.
How do we get our roster and schedule in before the season?
Rosters can be uploaded in the admin dashboard using a CSV or XLS file, and schedules are created in the admin dashboard as well.
What happens if the stat keeper makes a mistake mid-game?
There is an undo button next to the last-play summary. Tap it and quickly re-log the play.
